AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a bizarre partnership that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "A mysterious confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
