Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
