Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
